The 1993–94 Miami Heat season is the sixth season of the Miami Heat in the National Basketball Association (NBA). Led by the scoring of Glen Rice, the shooting of Steve Smith, and the rebounding of Rony Seikaly, the Heat finished fourth in the Atlantic Division with a 42–40 record, their franchise-best record at the time. In the first round of the playoffs, they would face the Atlanta Hawks. In Game 2, a brawl occurred and a few players were suspended. Grant Long was suspended for one game, Keith Askins suspended for three, and the Hawks' Doug Edwards suspended for two. After taking a 2-1 lead, the Heat would lose the series in five games. ==Offseason==
